Chiropractic care is like building a house — certain things have to happen in a particular order in for everything to stand strong and work correctly. When building a house, if you tried to put up walls before laying a solid foundation, the walls would be weak and inevitably collapse. If you tried to put on the roof before the walls were properly supported, you would run into the same problem. The same is true for your body. Your body has to go through a particular plan of care in order to repair itself correctly and fully. There are three general phases of chiropractic care:
Dr. Randall Haas has been a practicing chiropractic physician since 1978. He utilizes several different techniques (both force and non-force) to adjust the spine, extremities and cranium. He goes above and beyond “basic” chiropractic care by examining additional areas of the body that could be causing problems. A few examples are: Cranial Faults (stemming from a concussion), Hiatal Hernia (usually causing very uncomfortable acid reflux), a dysfunctional Ileocecal Valve and a thorough examination of the feet. Pronation (feet turned inward when standing) and Pes Planus (flat feet) will usually cause additional stress on the spine when walking. Our custom made orthotics will alleviate this problem by stabilizing the spine.
