Lime and garlic come together deliciously in this Lime & Garlic Grilled Flank Steak recipe. But they also pack an amazing health punch. Garlic, one of the oldest known horticulture crops, dates back over 5000 years ago to Indian and Egyptian cultures. Although limes gained popularity when used by the British navy to prevent scurvy during the 19th century, their use actually dates back to ancient Babylonia. When combined, together they provide an immunity boost, lower blood pressure and risk of heart disease, lower risk of certain cancers, and the list of benefits goes on and on. But perhaps the biggest plus, they taste great together! Enjoy!
